Not even kidding. I went to work sick one day, and there were only two people working in my position. The other girl early on in the shift asked me to cover an extra long shift the next week for her because she “needed to spend time with her family.” In my feverish haze, I said yes. But when our manager asked her politely to stay so she could send me home sick, the girl announced that she had been here too long already. Thanks, friend.
